We want to build a sustainable coffee future.

Through our direct trade sourcing we have built close relationships with our producers and our goal is to expand our community projects to every origin we buy from. Our commitment is to invest in social and environmental projects at every origin beyond the fair price that we pay for the coffee. The projects we invest in have been decided upon with the producers, based on what is really needed or meaningful to their communities.

This is not just a generous gesture, or a marketing tool this is simply a sustainable decision important for the survival of our business. The purpose of these projects is to become important to those producers and partners we are investing in and assure our supply of good coffee in future years, especially during this coffee crisis we are facing. It is important for us as a business to show support and commitment and encourage these producers to keep farming high quality coffee, securing them stable and fair incomes.

To date we have committed $10,000 USD to each of these community projects in Brazil, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ethiopia and Guatemala.

Community Projects - Colombia

We have selected one very specific area in Cauca region, called Caldoro to support. We buy a big proportion of what the community produces, which will allow us to support more than 26 families.
