We are kicking off a new season of Knowledge Talks with none other than Greg Scace – master of controlled calibration and the creator of the Scace Device.

Once the brewing button is pressed, a miracle occurs. Within seconds, ground coffee becomes a liquid taste sensation! How did that happen?

Greg will delve into the art of extraction, the inner workings of the modern espresso machinery and methods on creating the optimum conditions for producing the highest quality coffee. To top it all off, Greg will also talk through the methods for improving quality and consistency using new technology.

EXCITING UPDATE!

To celebrate our 2016 Knowledge Talks series, all proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to the Las Nubes Daycare and Afterschool -Learning Centre.

The centre supports the education of over 40 children aged between three and 12 in the coffee community of Acatenango.

On a daily basis the centre provides much needed education, nutritional meals and a safe and nurturing environment while allowing the parents to continue working or to complete their education.
