The August 2025 Single Origin Lineup
31st Jul 2025
August’s lineup is a curated journey through the world’s most exciting coffee regions — from the remote highlands of Papua New Guinea to the experimental lots of Colombia’s Monteblanco. Whether it’s the jammy fruit of Kindeng Mill, the layered fermentation of Juicy Fruit Ver. 7, or the high-altitude clarity of Ethiopia’s Tulisi, each release this month tells a story worth brewing.
This rotation leans into innovation, tradition, and a bit of surprise. You’ll find rare varietals like Pacamara from El Salvador, anaerobic naturals that reimagine the decaf category, and co-fermented coffees pushing Colombian profiles into new territory. It’s a diverse set, but every coffee shares a common thread — careful craftsmanship and bold flavour.
Single Origin Espresso

Tulisi, Ethiopia
Grown in the highlands of Yirgacheffe, Tulisi reflects the strength of traditional farming with a modern edge. After a 110-hour anaerobic fermentation, the cherries are dried slowly on raised beds, resulting in a clean, complex profile. It’s a sweet and structured coffee that lingers in all the right ways.

Kindeng Mill, Papua New Guinea
This rare PNG natural is a blend of micro-lots from 1,500 smallholders in the Western Highlands. The cherries are hand-sorted and slow-dried on raised beds, creating a coffee that’s bright, jammy, and full of character. Kindeng is an example of careful, community-driven production done right.

Finca Los Naranjos, El Salvador
This standout Pacamara comes from a revived farm in Apaneca, now home to hundreds of families. Shade-grown and fermented for up to 40 days, it offers bold fruit and depth. A structured, juicy cup that shows why El Salvador remains a favourite origin for espresso.
Single Origin Filter
Juicy Fruit Ver. 7, Colombia
From Monteblanco Farm, this version of Juicy Fruit leans into innovation with a co-fermentation using peach jam, tropical fruits, and panela. The result is a vibrant, fruit-layered cup that’s equal parts wild and refined — pushing boundaries without losing clarity.

Vara Blanca, Costa Rica
At one of Dota’s highest farms, Mario Marín and family carefully dry their hand-picked cherries for up to 45 days. The result is smooth, sweet, and complex — a filter that shows how tradition and detail can elevate a humble Catuaí.

El Vergel – Decaf Natural, Colombia
Decaf doesn’t get much better. From Elias and Shady Bayter’s innovative El Vergel estate, this EA-decaffeinated lot delivers full character without the buzz. Meticulous fermentation and drying preserve layers of depth, proving that decaf can still be a standout.

Alo Estate, Ethiopia
Grown at over 2,400 metres, this nano-lot from Cup of Excellence winner Tamiru Tadesse brings concentration and clarity. With slow drying and careful processing, it’s a vivid, expressive cup that captures the best of Sidama’s high altitudes.
