OcToby's fest is back - and this year, it's all about the stories that make your cafe yours. When you hear 'This One Time..." you already know the story. The one that still makes you laugh over knock-off drinks. Yeah, that one. We want it.

How do I enter?
Follow the steps outlined in the section below. Enter your details, including your cafe name. Then share an image or video accompanied by your award-winning (hopefully), This One Time Story. Start your story by saying "This One Time..." then hit submit. We're not looking for video quality, we're here for the story!
How does the voting work?
Once all the entries have been submitted, our internal team and key sponsors will pick the top 10 submissions. Don't stress about the video quality, we're here for the story. The top 10 cafes will then be able to call on the public to vote. We'll send you all the info you need for this closer to the time.
What are the key dates?
25th August - 12th September: Submit your entries
16th September: Top 10 enteries announced
26th September: Shoot date for winning cafes
10th October - 23rd October: Voting open to the public
24th October: Winners Announced
How do I encourage more votes?
If you're one of the top 10 cafes shortlisted, public voting will open on the 10th October. We'll provide you with social assets and flyers to use at your cafe to help promote and get your customers to vote.
What should I submit?
Forget video quality, we're here for the story. We won't be judging on the quality of video or photos but the story behind it. So start your story by saying "This One Time..." and spill!
Keep it short and sweet. Don't post any offensive, discriminatory, or culturally insensitive content (including anything sexist, racist, or inappropriate).

Hot Tips
1. For photo entry, take a clear shot of yourself/team in a way that encapsulates your story.
2. Start your story strong with a hook – then go into context about how it all went down.
3. Keep it short and sweet. Aim for 30s -60s.
4. Feature people (baristas, customers) to show personality.
