Fresh crop Myanmar!!!

In the remote valleys of Southern Shan State, Myanmar, coffee nearly vanished. With prices so low, many Pa-O farmers cut down their trees, leaving behind a crop once smuggled out during times of restricted trade. That changed when Behind the Leaf Coffee was founded by Melanie Edwards and her team at Lilypad. Working hand in hand with local families, they began restoring farms, encouraging selective harvesting, and introducing careful processing - opening new pathways for farmers to earn a sustainable and fair income.

Today, 99% of the coffee processed by Behind the Leaf comes directly from Pa-O smallholders across Shan State. Farmers now earn more than double for their ripe cherries, transforming coffee into both a livelihood and a source of pride.

This espresso carries notes of cherry, orange marmalade, and dark chocolate.
